Sex and gender perspective is essential to guarantee the integrity of EU funded projects. By properly identifying and addressing this dimension, we can avoid discrimination and gender inequalities that may be present in different fields of research and innovation. As a result, we can develop more effective and equitable policies and practicies and guarantee equal opportunities and greater and quality research outcomes.

Within the context of EU funded projects, evidence-based policy recommendations are crucial to ensure that the policies and programmes implemented are effective, efficient and sustainable. In an increasingly complex and changing environment, it is essential to have experts able to analyse relevant data and trends, identify key challenges and opportunities, and develop evidence-based policy recommendations that enable policy makers and change agents to make informed decisions. In addition, well-designed policy recommendations can also help improve transparency, accountability and citizen participation in decision-making, which can improve the quality of governance and increase citizens’ trust in European institutions. Evidence-based policy recommendations are ultimately a key element in securing a more prosperous and sustainable future for Europe and its citizens.
