Empowering European Projects

Innovative Solutions for Societal Impact

At PARADIGMA INNOVATION, we support European projects by delivering evidence-based policy recommendations, conducting Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) studies and integrating a gender perspective. This enhances the societal value and impact of research and innovation. Our work is grounded in methodological rigour, interdisciplinarity, and a deep understanding of EU frameworks and priorities.

Leading Change Through Innovation

We contribute to the design of effective and sustainable public policies—both within and beyond the EU project framework—through rigorous analysis and stakeholder engagement. Our services are tailored to the needs of European projects, public institutions, and civil society actors committed to evidence-based policy and inclusive governance

Specialized services

From data to action

Policy recommendation & public engagement

We contribute to the design of effective and sustainable public policies—both within and beyond the EU project framework—through rigorous analysis and stakeholder engagement. Our services are tailored to the needs of European projects, public institutions, and civil society actors committed to evidence-based policy and inclusive governance. Our services include:

  • Research and policy analysis: Generating evidence-based recommendations grounded in empirical research and official data sources.
  • Policy impact assessment: Applying cost-benefit analysis, regulatory impact assessments, and qualitative evaluations to measure policy effectiveness.
  • Legal and regulatory analysis: Providing expert input on EU law, international standards, and comparative frameworks relevant to public policy and innovation.
  • Stakeholder mapping and engagement: Identifying and analysing key actors (public institutions, civil society, industry) to support inclusive and democratic decision-making processes.
  • Public engagement strategies: Designing targeted outreach campaigns to raise awareness and strengthen citizen involvement.
  • Training and communication: Delivering training and dissemination support to maximise the impact of policy-related outcomes.

Human insight

Social Sciences and Humanities studies: SSH

We provide SSH studies to support the integration of social, ethical, legal and cultural perspectives in research and innovation. Drawing on interdisciplinary expertise, our services help ensure that projects address key societal challenges and align with EU priorities in terms of responsibility, sustainability, and public impact. This includes:

  • Interdisciplinary social research: Applying qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods to explore human behaviour, societal challenges, and public attitudes in diverse domains.
  • Cultural and linguistic analysis: Examining discourses, narratives, and communication dynamics relevant to the uptake and acceptance of innovation.
  • Social impact assessment: Evaluating the broader societal implications of research and innovation, in line with EU principles of responsibility and sustainability.
  • Support for proposal development: Assisting consortia in the design of effective SSH integration strategies to meet EU-funded projects’ “SSH Flagged” and “Cross-cutting issues” requirements.

Training for impact

Capacity Building for EU-Funded Projects

We offer tailored training for coordinators, project managers and teams involved in EU-funded projects. Our programmes focus on key cross-cutting areas—social impact, gender integration, SSH inclusion and policy alignment—to help projects meet EU requirements and strengthen methodological quality and collaboration. Our training services include:

  • Integrating Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH):
Guidance on incorporating SSH perspectives across all phases of the project lifecycle, from proposal to impact assessment.
  • Gender Integration and GEPs:
Workshops on gender-sensitive methodologies, development of Gender Equality Plans (GEPs) and sex/gender analysis in research.
  • Policy-Oriented Research and Impact:
Support in aligning project outputs with EU policy priorities and designing actions for public engagement and stakeholder involvement.
  • Consortium Communication and Inclusiveness:
Strategies to foster inclusive and interdisciplinary collaboration across diverse partner institutions.

Inclusive perspectives

Gender and Sex Analysis

Integrating a gender perspective is key to ensuring that research and innovation are inclusive, ethically sound, and aligned with EU values. We offer tailored support to help projects and institutions address gender-related requirements, reduce inequalities, and enhance societal impact through evidence-based approaches. Our services in this area include:

  • Gender integration across all project phases: Supporting consortia in embedding gender perspectives from proposal writing to implementation, evaluation, and impact assessment.
  • Gender Equality Plans (GEPs): Assisting institutions in developing and implementing tailored GEPs, in line with Horizon Europe eligibility criteria.
  • Gender-sensitive research and data analysis: Collecting, analysing, and interpreting sex-disaggregated data to identify gender gaps and inform inclusive solutions.
  • Policy and programme design: Designing gender-responsive policies and strategies based on scientific evidence and project findings.
  • Capacity building and training: Delivering hands-on training for project teams on gender integration, gender-sensitive methodologies, and compliance with EU gender requirements.
  • Communication and dissemination: Supporting gender-aware communication strategies that engage civil society and diverse audiences.
